Honesty Day
One of the virtues most often talked about is honesty. Today is National Honesty Day, a day to stop and think about how important it is to be honest. If you're caught in a lie it makes it that much harder for someone to believe you in the future. Your character is called into question. Instead of lying, try and explain your actions and if necessary ask for forgiveness. You'll then be known as someone who can be trusted and you'll likely have better relationships with friends and family. Write in to KidsCast and tell us why you think it's so important to always be honest.

It's easy and fun and you get to hear your voice on a radio show. Ask your teacher to check out our website or call for more details. KidsCast could come to your classroom by the end of the year.
