Get Started with Breakfast
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Without it, you can get tired and crabby. I mean think about it, when it's time for breakfast you haven't actually eaten in at least 8 to 12 hours. That's a long time and its pretty much all your body can think about. Without it you could get a headache and have a really hard time concentrating at school or in activities. So, always eat breakfast. You need carbohydrates, protein and fiber. Get started with some juice, perhaps a banana and some sort of bread, like a bagel. You'll feel a lot better and you won't be nearly as sluggish through your day.

The Cat in the Hat will be touring the state this week for Read Across America. The tour is meant to celebrate the joy of reading as well as celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss. But you don't have to get a visit from a giant cat to enjoy reading everyday. Share with us what your favorite books are so you can introduce them to new readers.
February 13th is technically bicycle safety day. But it's always a good idea to follow the rules of safety when you're going to be pedaling around. Follow these guidelines and you'll have a lot more fun behind the handle bars.
